As this is a multi unit property we do not have contact information for the poster or which unit they reside in, this information is necessary to proceed with any testing/sampling or additional discussion with our Chief Plant Operator.

So, do I understand correctly, due to no contact from the reporter this issue was dropped without investigation or resolution? When this issue arises again, what contact number/email address for the Chief Plant Operator would you have us customers use? And, does the Department keep a daily reference sample of treated waters for a set period of time for quality comparisons? --Thanks

The contact number is 863-4501, this number is staffed 24hr/day for water quality questions and emergencies. The general email address for Water Resources is water-resources@burlingtonvt.gov. We also provide a staff contact list with phone numbers and email addresses on the Water Resources Contact page of the City website: http://www.burlingtonvt.gov/DPW/Contact-Us. This SCF will be archived for future reference if we are contacted again concerning water quality questions at this location. A note has also been placed on the account for this location in our Billing system. Customer Care also tracks internally any water quality complaints or concerns being generated from a specific area, as of today we have received no other contact from additional residents at this location or from the owner of the property.
