Issue Acknowledged - created RFS#5599 and assigned to ROW Streets

Since it seems this is not going to be a "quick fix" can we please at least mark it as per MUTCD Section 9C.06 "Pavement Markings for Obstructions" so that folks unfamiliar with the area are made aware of the hazard? Thanks in advance.

This is in the same dangerous state. Perhaps you meant to adjust a different issue?

To be clear, the issue here is the that the drain grate is several inches below the asphalt creating a loss of control hazard.

Coming up on two years since this hazard was reported and I'm still having to merge in to the general purpose lane everyday to avoid it. Could you pretty please fix it this construction season? I know it can be done, other drain grates in this corridor have been properly ramped but for some reason not this one.

Any follow-up to this?

It's on our Capital improvement project list which should be updated this spring.

Here's hoping the forth construction season since this was reported will be the charm...

I had seen some dig safe markings around this earlier in the year when the main Pine St construction was going on so I was hopeful this would finally be fixed. Unfortunately nothing has been done with that so bumping this issue again... This is a main cycling route, it's disappointing this hasn't been fixed in 4 years :-/
