The signal technician found the video zone was properly placed with regard to the pavement markings. Sometimes a stop bar gets moved back for turning busses, or some such thing, without the video zone being changed. Such was not the case here. No problem was seen. The assumption is that this was a smaller vehicle not quite large enough to trip the zone. The zone was split into two zones over the same area, which increases actuation sensitivity. The Department of Public Works has resolved this request. Thanks for helping to keep Burlington a great place to live and work.
