  Thank you for inquiring about this issue. The current street width does not allow room to add protective elements, so this will be evaluated for our long-term capital project list. We recognize the importance of this issue, and its impact to you, and we will continue to balance resources to address this and other long-term projects.   I just looked at the plan for the budget and why is there more money allocated for the bike lanes then for streets to be repaved? The roads need to be fixed first!
